My PMT function is coming up as a negative figure, when it should be a
positive one and I can't for the life of me figure out how to put round into
this function. Ex: PMT .05% 12months I4 (cost) 2 decimals.
thanks for help out there

There is nothing wrong with PMT(). If PV is positive,
PMT must be negative. Conversely, if you want PMT
to be positive, simply make PV negative.
gt; Ex: PMT .05% 12months I4 (cost) 2 decimals.
=PMT(0.05%, 12, -I4)
But I wonder if 0.05% is the monthly rate (only 0.6%
annually!?), or if you mean 5% annually -- in which case,
you want to write 5%/12.
