The setup consists of a lil59 neck, duckbucker mid and jbjr bridge. When i use position 2 3 4 output drops considerably. I reversed the duckbucker wires and still the same results. Is this loss of out put normal for this type of setup. Pos 3 is a bit louder but only about half of 1 or 5. Any body tried this setup yet?

OK how would I find out who endorsed the DCJ pups I've been playing since the mid '80's? To clarify, I remember that when I purchased the pups way back then, when I had hair, they were the quot;So and So'squot; model, like Eric Clapton or David Gilmore endorsed - some big player and for the life of me I can't remember. Why you ask - because it made a big difference - the ones I have are simply Great! Amazing! I want more - I have 3 or 4 of these in various guitars and nothing compares!

I just purchased a set of SD pickups for my quot;JDquot; Telecaster -- specifically STK-T1n (neck) and STKT3b (bridge) Vintage Stacks (they're actually stacked humbuckers voiced to replicate traditional Tele tones). The guitar has a five-way switch and I want to wire it so I can benefit from the maximum tonal possibilities. I guess I'll have position #1 for the neck, position #3 for both pickups (in series?), and position #5 for the bridge. Can anybody come up with suggestions as to what I might do with positions #2 and #4?

Hey, can anyone here tell me which Mimarzio pickups are close to or better than a jb/Jazz set? Invader? Distourtion?

Thanks guys for all you help this year. I got my first tube amp just this summer and it's great. I got my guitar all setup with humbuckers and I'm loving the tone. Here's a pic of me on the right with my friend at college. I know to 100w Marshall head quarter stack may be a bit overkill. But the tone is just so much better than just using my fender practice amp. Even though I set the master volume around 2 the tone still very nice, just waiting to get my first chance to crank my marshall amp beyond 3.

Curious, due to the fact that the A4, I've heard, has more mids than an A5. What do you think it would sound like.
