My buddy wants my guitar stripped and primered before he paints it. Or, could I just primer over the old paint to save time? Would that effect tone?

Hi am new here and i have a question. I am going to put some new pickups in my Epi, and I really want a classic sound so I was thinking if the antoquity PAF's was any good for a nice sound. I am not really any expert on Pickups but i can tell that the crapy sound coming out of my guitar now is some peice of ****. I am playing much Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck and Guns N' Roses.

'Way back in the early 80's, I went through a couple of Boss CE-2's; those were pretty much the standard for chorus back then, and I liked 'em. In the late 80's I bought a DC-2 Dimension C, the purple 4-button jobbie,that I still have today. It has an awsome chorus sound, but I'm not sure it's my sound. So, I'm thinking about trading down to a Boss Chorus with knobs.

Robben gets some cool tones on this - I see that he uses a 59 in the bridge and a PG in the neck on his signature model. Does anyone know what guitar he uses with jing chi - is it his sig. model or an LP? If its an LP, does anyone know what pups he has it loaded with? Great tones, love the opening track. Anyone heard any of their other CDs?

Hey, I've been making custom Strats for years and just recently my friend said I should put them online. I can do anything....from Artist models to vintage. With artist I can do it from any time of their life like with SRV, alot of people are making strats like the quot;Fenderquot; Tribute and I make them from all different years. I also specialize in Jimi Hendrix Monterey Strats with his custom artwork.
I don't just make them to look like the artists I try to bring my guitars as close as possible to their sound and tone.

Hello forum brothers, I could use your opinions (good, bad or indifferent) on the H20 Chorus amp; Echo unit.
I'm looking to get a good chorus and delay and I would be interested in killing two birds with one stone with this unit. Any help would appreciated.......Joe
