hey, does anyone know of any free programs that i can use to record with? i have a cheap computer mic, but i'd like to record more than 60 seconds... and maybe put two recordings together? anything that i can start with? thanks.

Hi all This tuesday comming ill be switching back to an all tube amp after using a line 6 Vetta II for 2 years, no bad words on that amp from me though coz it served me well.

I bought a Fender American Deluxe V-neck Strat last week, and it has been a real joy to play. I am more of a Tele player, but this Strat is keeping me satisfied with its warm, rich tones. The SCN pickups are shockingly good, and the S1 switch options are very useful. The bridge pickup is among the best I've heard, rivaling the Twangbanger in my California Series Strat.

Alright, I'm looking for a great overdrive/distortion to drive the front-end of a tube amp. I've heard alot of people talk about the DS-1, however I've also heard that the newer ones aren't as good as the older ones. I play metal/progressive(ala Tool, Dream Theater, Michael Angelo, Rush, Black Label, etc.), any suggestions as to what pedal I need to get? I'm looking at mainly using it as a solo boost, and maybe during heavier parts of some songs. Thanks!
