Hey, everyone...

So this new Schecter that I recently picked up came with Grover tuners. They look like the regular-sized 14:1 Rotomatics, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, my question is this... If I ordered a set of the Grover locking tuners, would they drop right in w/o any drilling?

yes they should fit fine. i had a set of locking grovers on one of my les pauls and actually switched back to regular grovers b/c i wasn't too happy with the way the locking grovers work. i had problems fitting the low E string through the hole for it in the tuner and also had problems with the G string slipping out of tune drastically and not holding tune well. i may give them another try on another one of my les pauls but i don't think they are worth it to be honest.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the input. Instead of the locking tuners then, would it be worthwhile to upgrade to their 18:1 regular rotomatics?
