Can anyone suggest the best OD or dist to do higher gain SEARING AND SOARING LEAD TONE but SUPER ARTICULATE! The tone I am looking for is like these clips, using a Custom Audio Amplifiers....What OD should I get??

I say goose an amp already running somewhat dirty with a Hermida Mosferatu for over the top gain, though you can use it alone for a decent amount of gain too. Killer pedal! You aren't going to nail the tone of a high end tube amp like the CAE with a pedal, but you can get something that fits the decription of yours I quoted above.

Soldano Supercharger - it's pretty much the preamp section of the SLO-100 in a pedal. Not cheap, but if you want a dedicated, quality lead pedal, it will work wonders.

Radial Tonebone Hot British is the pedal you should be trying out. If you learn how to mold that pedal to your amp, you'll have the kind of highgain you're looking for.
