Does anyone know where I can find parts for a 60's model Byrdland. An older friend of mine got his out the other day and it is a nightmare. When he put it away he said he sprayed it with some furniture polish (God no!!!) and wiped it down then put it in its case. I don't know how long ago this was but the pick gaurd has, for lack of a better word quot;crystalizedquot; and the Gold cover humbuckers have a green tint to them that he said won't come off. I haven't gotten the guitar in hand yet but I can always take the humbuckers out and store them (at this point I am assuming they are early patent number) and make a new pickgaurd. I would however like to buy a premade pickgaurd if not an original. I may beable to clean the pickups with some napatha but if not can I get Antiquities in Gold cover? Apparently the gutiar still sounds great but he won't play it in public because of the way it looks. Please help me help him.

Everything I've heard about the pickup booster has been positive. I just wish Duncan would provide some sound clips of it especially with single coils. I think alot of people would like to hear some sounds of the resonant switch plus the overall sound of the booster. Just wishin.

Duncan Invader owners: Do you think this p/up would tame a bright guitar? The tone chart looks like its heavy on the bass and mids, low on the treble. The JB in my swamp ash Gamp;L seems awfully bright. Input please!

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here knew what the guitarist from Los Lonely Boys is using for a rig? I have some idea but I'm not exactly sure. Any help would be much appreciated.

Got a Peavey Classic 30...looking for more bottom end when I'm wailing with my SG. Thinking of junking the Blue Marvel for a Celestion G12h30. Whaddya think?
