Hi all, sort of a follow up to a recent post...

I have just fitted two SH59's to my les paul and have noticed that the bridge pickups output and tone are not as they should be. The neck pickup has to be turned down to half volume for me to get an equal balance between the two. I installed them, one at a time straight from the box but am wondering if perhaps the two have been swapped. Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem?

A few months ago Evan was teasing us with this prototype distortion pedal and hinted it may be out by the end of the year.I've been dying for a od/dist pedal as nice as their previous 2 pedals.

I know the point of reference isn't quite as classic rock as the tastes of this board, but I was hoping perhaps someone here could point me in the right direction for arranging and recording tight, multipart harmonies like those found on BR records. Whenever I start layering things, it just counds crowded and clumsy even when the performances are spot-on. I can't seem to figure out how to create the sonic cohesion of a background gang vocal.

Can you detach the metal plate on the 59 without damaging the pickup? I want to use the metal plate from my old pickup and attach it to the new 59.
