-First is it possible/practical to put a 25.5 scale 24 fret fretboard on a Fender stratocaster designed for a 22 fret fretboard(i want swimming pool routing so i dont think i can get a showmaster)

I'm looking for a pickup that sounds like a wah pedal stuck in the middle. I want mids that snarl, with a kind of rusty sound. Oh, and I have a maple guitar. I've already tried the JB, Distortion, Full Shred, Custom Custom and Bill Lawrence xl-500. I'm not looking for so much gain, more a dirty, lively sound.

i would go with the jazz for my LP in the neck if it had a little bit more midrange is the A2 pro like that? or should i just step up to the seth?

I got a Gibson Guitar Center Limited Editon Les Paul Studio up for trade. I bought it in March of 2005, but the serial dates it as a 2004 model. It's limited edition because it it's painted saphire blue and has the hardware of a Les Paul Standard (creme plastic ware, gold knobs, nickle harware). Its in excellent shape except for a small mark on the body and very light buckle rash on the back (doesn't even go through finish). I replaced the covered 498T and 490R pickups with open coil Custom (bridge) and '59 (neck) humbuckers. I do not have the original humbuckers. I have also installed Schaller Strap Locks.

This may sound stupid but I got a new single coil humbuker pickup and was wondering what would happen if I moved my single coile bridge PU over twords the middle PU and put the new one in right by it in the bridge postion ? what happens when you put PU's right by eachother ?
