Man, I am lovin' this new Gamp;L Invader I just picked up. Mahogany body with a maple cap. Could tell right away before plugging it in that it was much warmer than the swamp ash. The JB just sings. This is the guitar I've been searching for after trying 7 or 8 different types.

okay in my search for guitar straight to board sound i just have one last puzzle piece to solve.

Here's my delima. I have my Jeff Seal modded JCM, which I love. It's got a slight hiss on both the clean and OD channel, which I attribute to the power tubes.....it's time to have them replaced. The old version of my amp was so harsh that I went to great lengths to smooth it out and get rid of the harsh, that I think I may have gone too far. However, there is more.

Now the amp g.a.s. Thread reminded me of the fact that I'd need a good amp too, but when I look at the prices for tube amps, even the cheap ones (1x12 ~30W) cost about 500€ over here... but then I see some under 18 year olds in here who do own such things... how can they afford?

The 59b is my favorite SD bridge pickup, but I always used it in LP type mahagony guitars.
