I was getting ready to play about 2 hours ago plugged in my guitar turned on the amp and nothing. it powered up but there was no sound at all. i let it sit there for a minute or so and still nothing . i made sure it wasn't in mute and made sure all my cables were plugged in. still nothing so i turned it off and then back on a few times. that didn't work. i even changed the tube in it still didn't do anything. i checked all my cables agian then i turned it off agian unhooked everything and hooked it all back up then when i turned the amp on the volume was set on about 3 i hit the top string on my guitar and it was as loud as when its cranked. the note rang out for aobut 3 seconds then there was a loud pop. loud enough that i still can't hear good out of my left ear. then it died agian. it was still on the led's were all on. then after a few seconds it smelled like melting plastic. theres no smoke or anything. i noticed it started making a low pop about 2 weeks ago but always worked fine and i could lay it face down and it didnt pop at all. so what ya guys think should i bother with trying to get it fixed or just get a new amp?

Hi Guys just wodnering is the ds-1 a true by pass pedal or not? How about the dd-3, the ph-3 or the tu-2 tuner if that makes any sense, im so lsot as to which pedals are true by pass or not.

Does anyone know how much one of the mid 70's ibanez destroyers cost? Also, I heard that they were just painted to look like korina wood (african limba) and I was wondering if they were all like this or if some were real korina?

I bought and had installed an SD 59 in the bridge position of my Yamaha Pacifica (Strat copy HSS). I didn't notice that it was a 59N. It sounds good, though -- my plan was to warm up the guitar and it seems to have worked.

OK, spent some time running the Firebird through my Rivera.

I bought used Highway Fender Strat. Strings are low well i like that. But it has fret buzzing on 1 2 3 frets on every string. On 1 2 string on the first fret - no sound at all.Neck seems to be just fine, straight no bows. I tried to raise Syncronized Tremolo, but dont know how to do that, so i removed one spring, so that the quot;buttquot; of my tremolo raised. It helped a little, but still buzzing, it kills me. What could be the problem? (i like this dancing guy) Oh i forgot i also raised the strings on max on the bridge. But still string are low lik on Ibanez?

I just had a Dimarzio pro track installed in my Ibanez prestige. It was put in the neck position and the only thing is that it is a little muddy sounding, even with mild distortion. Do you think maybe it's set a little too close to the strings, or is that pup not a good choice for the neck position?

Is there a tonal difference between the 2 amp; 6 Point trems? The MIA versions of course... I think there are different versions of the 2 Point MIA Trem though... could anyone point out the differences of those too please..

Hmm in short I have 2 stacked humbuckers and a JB Jr on my guitar, and the guitar is still humming at 1,3,5, unless i put my hand on the bridge (or anywhere metal, strings etc).

hey guys, i'm gonna hook up a sh-13 dimebucker in the bridge of my jackson ke3 kelly i think but i dont kno wmuch about pickups and i need to know what to put in the neck, right now there are just the stocks, a detanator i beleive. and i'm not sure what will go well with the dimebucker and what not, can someone help me out please.

I just had two Customs and one 59n all go microphonic on me over a three-week period. I have tested my signal chain extensively and the howling feedback I’m getting is definitely from the pick-ups. How common is it for Duncans to go microphonic like this? These pick ups are only three years old, seems like they should last longer. I am going to have them wax potted and hopefully that will solve the problem. Anyone else ever run into more than one microphonic Duncan or am I just “lucky”?

I bought a tube of this stuff and just applied to the nuts on my guitars. Has anyone used this before? Does it work as well as it claims, guaranteed to not go out of tune?

I will buy a Marshall amp. I have a 15W, but I want to have a better one for use when jamming. Is a 30W (the Marshall MG30DFX) enough (considering drums) or do I have to get more (f.ex. Fender FM 65R) ?
