I've got a Les Paul Classic Premium Plus with the hot Gibson ceramic pickups. I want to replace them to get a more traditional vintage PAF sound. I decided to go with the Antiquitys, but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

I have a twin that I have had a v30 and a Greenback in. The tone was fair. I have wanted to take out the green back for awhile due to it's lower wattage rating. I ordered some speakers fron Avatar and put them in the twin. I put in the hellatone 30 and hellaone 60. WOW!! The speakers are celestion v30 and g12h30s that are quot;agedquot; or broken in. It really opened up the middle, and especially the bottom end of this amp. I am totally tonally impressed with this setup.

Hey guys, Mig50 is probably gonna sell me a regular spaced Tone Zone and I need to know, will it go in my OLP Axis with a vintage style trem ok? Am I stuck just getting a F spaced humbucker?

I had all but deceided on a DD for the bridge of my RG1570 till I found out the mounting ears would require some modification. The triangular shaped ears on the dimarzio's are a direct replacement. Which dimarzio will give me the DD tone?

Okay I can hear what i recorded during play back... but i can hear what i am recording while i am recording it. and i cant find out where to turn this feature on or what it is even called. ive tried the manual and the help section but its like searching for a needle in a hay stack.

Ok, i Got a Jackson DXMG, yeah they came with Passive EMG, im not into metal now, u can say fusion, rock, jazz. I know macalpine was using carvins and C22 pickups, on neck and bridge, so i really love the CAB2 tone. What probabilities of getting a nice tone with those Carvin pickups on my Jackson, or maybe other pickups advice always welcome!!!! im intrigued with the Carvin though.

I have taken apart my jem 6 times and It still is not right. I just bought a SD JB stacked humbucker single coil for use in my Jem with my evo pickups. I can't for the life of me figure how to wire the stupid thing to get it to work properly. Right now I have the black wire out of the JB connected to the soldering point where the red wire in the diagram was on the jem scematic. I am assuming that is the hot as the black was wired to the ground. The Green wire coming off the JB is wired to the ground and the red and white are clipped off. What this does for me is when I switch to the middle pup it is like 10% of the out put the pickup should have I know it is not wired right or it would sing from what I hear. My evo's sound great they are fine. ANyone HELP? I really want this rewire to be the last here is the link to what the jem should be wired as, keep in mind I am replacing the middle pup with the JB. What exactly are the model names referencing. I think I have a couple of them figured out, like the Sultans Single Coils and the Riff Raff humbucker, but a lot of the other ones are a mystery to me. Does anybody have any experience with thes pickups and can you give a comparison to something more familiar?

i just bought a fender tele with a b-bender, while i was there, i also put in a SD Five-Two in the Bridge, what do you think would be a good middle and neck pickup? i want to make it as COUNTRY sounding as possible... any reccomendations?

Is there a tonal difference between a soapbar p-90 and a dogear? I'm only curious for the bridge position. I ask because 2 guitars I'm interested in are the les paul junior

Just randomly happened upon this today, hoping maybe somebody can explain this further or give me a first-hand impression. $18 is a reasonable price.

There's a couple colors that Fender only used on a few Strat Plus models in the 90's (91 and 96, I think). One is reverse metallic blueburst and the other is reverse metallic silverburst, where both are darker in the middle, and get misty towards the edges. The only problem is that they only came on Strat Plusses with the pesky metal nut. So, I've always swapped out the neck for a new American Series strat neck. The blueburst one many of you have seen already, complete with the engine turned guard, Jazz B/2 Surfers, and Stringsavers on only the plain strings. I just won this Ebay auction for $119, and will finish it with all American parts in about a month. This one will get the black engine turned Custom Shop guard, and Twangbanger/2 Surfers. I'll have 2 reverse metallic strats! I can tell just by seeing the back it's gonna be badass!!
