I had a chance to bu a Mesa/Boogie DC-3 but I missed out on that, anyways I'm in the market for a good combo. The tone I'm looking for is a Opeth-ish type tone, Uk Highgain I guess you could call it. The most important thing is it being in a combo, preferably a 2x12 with good wattage.

My next rare colored Fender!
There's a couple colors that Fender only used on a few Strat Plus models in the 90's (91 and 96, I think). One is reverse metallic blueburst and the other is reverse metallic silverburst, where both are darker in the middle, and get misty towards the edges. The only problem is that they only came on Strat Plusses with the pesky metal nut. So, I've always swapped out the neck for a new American Series strat neck. The blueburst one many of you have seen already, complete with the engine turned guard, Jazz B/2 Surfers, and Stringsavers on only the plain strings. I just won this Ebay auction for $119, and will finish it with all American parts in about a month. This one will get the black engine turned Custom Shop guard, and Twangbanger/2 Surfers. I'll have 2 reverse metallic strats! I can tell just by seeing the back it's gonna be badass!!

Hi there.

Gibson SG-X
I'm putting her up fo sale. At this point I only need one SG and my Standard does just fine. I'm in the process of building a Tele and I think between the two I will have all I need.
I bought this from a forum member about a year ago as plain black. I upgraded it with a black/cream/black pickguard and custom-made matching trussrod cover (Chandler...and not cheap either!!). The trussrod cover is made out of the same material as the guard. The black and cream match the side markers on he neck, it all goes together very well. I upgraded the bridge and and tailpiece both to TonePros (chrome). Put on some knurled metal knobs. The frets are very free of wear (can take pics if you really want), neck and trussrod are in perfect working order. This guitar has it's share of dings- nothing major, but it had been played. The lack of neck route makes this thing really solid. 24 fret of course. It has a stock two-position mini switch for alternate wiring. It has a nice dark tonal quality that goes very well with a JB, DD, or '59. There is a DD in it right now. It's really old (DDJ I think). This guitar will be shipped in an old hard shell case. I do not use anything else. Price is $500 shipping or we can meet for a local pickup. Pics are below. Of course, any additional upon request.

What would it take to convert to a Floyd.
I've been looking for a long time for a guitar with all the features that I want, but cannot find it. So, I'm debating turning my Ibanez into what I want, which will also, in turn, make it a 1 of a kind. What I have is a SA1260, that I'm thinking about having it routed for a floyd. I know the existing nut would have to be removed, and a locking nut installed. And also, the tremelo cavity would have to be enlarged. So, has anyone done this to their guitar? I'm looking to get and idea of the price that a luthier might charge, and whether it can be done right. Any thoughts?

Has anybody played one of the new Ibanez's with the new Duncan/Ibz pickups? I've read some decent reviews on H.C., but I'm wondering if their just the old Duncan Designed pickups in a shiney new package. I'm looking to pick up one of the SZ320 gold tops. Sweet!!
