I've got two Fender grey bobbin single coils. I think they was made in December of 73. Atleast that's what one of the stamps say on the bottom. They're wound to about 5.4K or so. Flat poles too. Got some black coil wire. I've also got an 80's Fender single coil, but it's got a formed black plastic bobbin. I cant remember the exact code on the bottom, buit I remember it being from the 80's. Same flat poles, same black coils. As a set, how much do you think these are worth? Oh yeah, the 80's one was replaced by me on a customers strat, cause it was RWRP for the other two pickups. The guy got tired of 'em after awhile and got some DMZ's. Anyway, I tried searching ebay, and wasnt finding a whole lot on these things.

I know you can custom order guitars through Heritage and request certain neck profiles, but what is the quot;standardquot; neck profile for the 150. Is it a rounded 59 type neck or the slimmer 60's style?

OK, so I've got a Hipshot tremolo (which is a direct replacement for a Fender two-post style tremolo), and basically it spaces the strings kind of like a Floyd. However, I'm wanting to get a Seth Lover. I guess they don't make an F-spaced one. Do you think it will affect the sound much? I don't want to settle for a pickup just because it's F-spaced (that is, I don't want a Blues Trembucker - it aint' the same thing!)

i have it switched to the bridge, and tune it.

What can anyone tell me about these things? Are they good? Do you use them to push your pre amp tubes are use it to replace your pre amp. Does it work like adding more tubes to your pre amp(gain structure) , or just like a distortion pedal to push your already existing pre tubes?

I'm looking for a next guitar project, and I really really want it to be a neck thru guitar. If you have any model 5, 6, or Soloist (Japanese, USA, or even ESP!) bodies that are either in very bad shape and need some loving, or that have no hardware or even no paint, I'd be ready to unload it. I'm looking at anything under 400 dollars. It's not much, but I know there are deals like this out there. It's also to be shipped to Europe, so beware USA people. Thanks guys!

i went to the h and h around here and they had it for 399 on clearance, i started playin it and it sounded really nice... the trem is what ive been lookin for in a nice playin guitar for a not so nice budget... anyone have one? whats it like?

Is there any bass players out on the web? That can tell me anything about the new EBO /SG bass?

Ok guys...I need a new guitar. I hate to say that I am actually looking to get a new guitar simply because I have 2 pickups to put in it, but that's the case!

Is it necessary, or recommended, to ground this preamp to the bridge?

I gotta follow-up my Ernie Ball vs. D'Addario thread with a pick question. I recently picked-up some Thin Jerry Garcia picks that are awesome... they were more expensive but have been much more durable than the Fenders I had been using before.

When does the value of a used (valuable) instrument go up instead of down? For example, when does the value of a used Les Paul start to go up? And how much should be taken off the price of a used instrument like a Gibson that's only a few years old?

I received my Agile 2000 last week. Pretty amazing guitar considering that I got it on sale for 99.99 instead of the regular 199.99. I actually paid the price of an SX.
