I am wondering if what I want to do is logical. (Excel 2002)
I have a workbook with two worksheets. One of the sheets has a link to a row
in the other. I created the link using right-click, then selecting
quot;Hyperlinkquot; and designating a defined name as the destination. (I designated
the entire row as a defined name)
Problem is, when I sort the latter sheet, the link still points to the
defined name location, it does not seem to know to stay with the row that has
the defined name I designated as the object of my link when it moves because
of a sort. If I cut the row and paste it somewhere else, this same link is
not broken, so I think I must be doing something wrong.
Is there any way to allow a user of my workbook to sort on a page, and not
lose hyperlinks that are pointing to them?
