I arrive at a value in a particular cell and which I would want it to blink
as in MS Word as a text character. How can I do this without changing the
cell definition from a numeric (present) to text otherwise. Appreciate help
and guidance. Thanks

No such formula
need to roll your own

Personally I would turn it off without blinking lt;bggt;, these things I find
disturbing to say the least

Hi,

If you would like to enter the value as Text Character, you have insert
tables in the MS-Word. After inserting the Table you can select quot;Hide
Gridlinesquot; in the Table Menu. This will help you to show the content as a
Text.
