hello. i want to start a quotation template. i need to have a system whereby
a cell generates a quote number everytime i open the template and obviously
it needs to be incremental.if the template ends up being cancelled and not
saved then the number is not used untill next time i open the template and
save it. how do i go about this. i have looked up all my help files but
can't find anything.

im having a little trouble getting it to work.. im obviously doing something
wrong. is it ment for excel?
