I first go to quot;Page setupquot;, then to quot;header/footerquot;. Then I scroll down
under header or footer and it shows all the previous customized footers and
headers that I have previously used. I want to eliminate these old
customized labels. I am building a new model for a client and I do not want
him to be able detect that I used the same model from a previous client ( I
kept the past clien't name as part of a customized footer)
Again, I only want to remove the previous customized footers and headers and
the not the standardized ones that come with Excel. I am using Excel2000.
Thanks
From a trawl through google's archives ( custom footer, etc)
there seems to be no way to kill the footer / header history

I appreciate your research. I accept the answer but as you can imagine, I am
upset to know the truth
Thanks, JUNKMAN

Does anyone know if there has been any update to this response? I too would
really like to be able to eliminate old custom headers and footers.
thanks
