I am wondering if this would be possible....
I have a Fender M-80 120 watt (2X60 watt stereo) head

I need a rosewood fretboard strat-type neck. Squier, Fender, Mitey Mite, Warmoth, I don't care, logo or no logo, as long as it looks like a Fender/Squier one.

all of my lesters feel/play differently from one another, i really love the ZW one with the EMG set in it
but sometimes i prefer to play the 57 RI black beauty which right now has a JB/jazz.

a good guitar for about $500, give or take... preferably with a FR, any wood, any style, i just want some ideas

I replaced my American strat's bridge (like an idiot) a while back and now I want to re-replace it...I cant decide if I should go for a more modern 2 post design like a Wilkinson or if I should keep it simple with a 6 screw vintagey Fender bridge...I simply want good tuning stability and smooth tremolo action without looking crazy, but I am open to anything-as long as the color is chrome/silver(can't do gold or black)...Would a modernytwo postdesign best fit my needs? HELP! Which do you recommend, why, and if you have another bridge in mind, tell me which one. Thanks!

What should i expect if i install a pickup without the tone control?How the lack of tone pot affects the sound, output and EQ of the pickup?

Man am I pissed at myself. On friday I was browsing through some guitar dealer sites and I came across the most beautiful Charvel I have ever seen. It was a new pointy headstock US San Dimas w/ maple neck in tangerine (fender candy tangerine) finish. It came with a hotrails neck, JB bridge and a Original Floyd Bridge (not recessed). I NEED this guitar. So I email them and get the price for it. I spend 2 days thinking about this guitar and if I really need it or not. I do some searching around on the web looking for another 1 just like it, but i couldn't find another. This morning I check their site and it is still listed, so I go to the bank to move some $$ around so i can put it on my debit card. I call the dealer this afternoon... and they ****ing sold it this morning. I almost cried. I guess instead of thinking about it for a few days i should have jumped on it friday. I probably wont be able to sleep tonight.

This Fender Showmaster with the floating 2 point tremolo just won't stay in tune after using the bar. Especially that evil G string. Here's what I've learned from this forum: Lube the nut and saddles and use some sandpaper to widen the slots in the nut.

I've just discovered a video clip on one of my Guitar One CDs that has a dude from Vox demonstrating the many tones you can get from one of these babies. It sounded pretty sweet, but I wonder, being the metalhead I am, how much gain is it capable of? Can it crunch? And how are the cleans for Jazz type stuff?
