a good guitar for about $500, give or take... preferably with a FR, any wood, any style, i just want some ideas
Take a look at Schecter Guitars.
Go on Ebay to electric guitars, and type in 'Floyd' in items amp; descriptions. Everything with a Floyd Rose will come up.
Ibanez S series. I don't own one, but they play so nice, sound decent and the trem is so cool. Just a cool guitar and its about $500 bucks. There are also some decent Jacksons in that range.

I suggest only going with guitars that have a
Original Floyd Rose
Kahler Steeler
or
Ibanez Edge
I'm not fond of the Schaller Floyd II (cast base)
or the TRS licensed floyds.
