so.. i'm building up new GAS for a guitar and i'm getting quite specific now

Someone offered me a Nomad 55 in trade for my Rectoverb, but know nothing of the amp. Any owners here care to chime in on the type of tones these guys spit out? I'm in the market for an amp for blues/jazz/fusion type tones.

Alright guys, here's the deal. One of my old singers came over today and laid out some vocals for my stuff. I like it, but most of the people who have listened say that they hurt more than help. I'd like to hear some more vocal styles over my music, just to see what would work.

Would I damage my (tube) guitar amp if i plug a bass into it?

I was reading through the SD Qamp;A section the other day, when I came across an anecdote in which Seymour tells of a guy who decided to rout his vintage strat for humbuckers(with a screw driver no less.) im curious what about a pickup ( or pickups ) make them better / easier for doing harmonics ? ( namely pinch harmonics ) would hotter pickups be better for this ? or brighter more trebly pickups ?

Im trying to make a choice between an RMC2 and a Picture Wah by Teese. Which would be a better choice, im basically looking for a nice vintage wide sweep and a good hendrix tone. The RMC2 seems to be safer because i could change the sweep and sharpness and that sorta thing, but the Picture Wah seems to be an incredible wah, which should i go for?
