I'm an old school creature of habit and I've never used Duncan Pickups, but I'm ready to take the plunge. For the last 20 years I've mainly used a competitor's Super Distortion and various pickups from gibson.

Need help on setup of Les Paul..
This is a looong shot but here we go. I have a set of 10-60 Strings that im gonna put on and swap PICKUPS in the process. While im a fan of a Lower tuning A, B......I LOVE STANDARD E. So my question is can someone give me some tips on how to set up a Les Paul to handle these 60 gauge strings without going to a luthier? When talk of cutting the nut and adjusting the saddle im getting a little lost...tried looking at the library for something to help me, but to no avail nothing.

anyone judge a pup by it's quot;FEELquot;
what i mean is the way it feels as you are playing under the fingers?
like some pups feel saggy or even draggy as you play and others are real precise and up frony and track your playing fast(ala EMG,duncan custom) and the notes just repond immediately.

Antiquities in gold?
I guess that says it all do the antiquities come with gold covers? I recently got a black les paul with gold hardware and i think the aged nickel would look rather silly so i'm wondering if you can get the antiquities in a gold formate. Or i could just go with gold 4 conductor (so i can do series and in/out phase) seth lovers.

Small tube amp/metal with pedals/room level...
I'm on the market for a small (room level only) tube amplifier for blues but mostly metal. I'm guessing 15 watts should be good? I don't expect a metal tone straight out of it since it won't happen with most amps but since I'll have to put it quite loud to get a large enough amount of gain and tone, I'd like it to be very small. I'll probably use a boost pedal like an MXR micro amp to boost the sound and maybe buy a cheap powerbreak on the bay if I find one, but only the pedal amp is sure. I'm looking for a very thick overdriven tone, a bit as if Zakk Wylde's distorsion meets Children of Bodom's overall tone.
I do not have access to boutique or ultra expensive stuff, and I already have a POD 2.0 so I am not interested in modelling stuff really, but suggest away. I do not have a budget yet so I'll compare later. Mostly what I had in mind was the Fender hot rod deluxe's 15 watter brother (if it has full EQ), the Laney LC15, and er... pretty much that's it. I'm affraid that if I get 30 watts it'd have to be too loud to get a good metal tone out of it.

Vintage Silvertone Amp questions
I'm attempting to find any info on a vintage amp I bought a couple of years ago. It's a 60's Silvertone with six ten inch Jensens, but this is not the 100 watt tube 610 like Jack White uses. It's a 150 watt solid state amplifier. I've fallen in love w/ the thing, but I can't find any info on it. It's the only one I've ever seen. Any ideas on where I should look for info?

Need last minute advice. (eBay content.)
This is just too good of a price to pass up. I've been wanting one of these, but the guy only has one feedback. Which isn't a problem per se. We all gotta start somewhere.

PRS Bridge Pickup install. Help !!!
I want to install a Duncan 4 conductor humbucker into my PRS Custom 24.
The guitar has has the 5-way rotary switch with the circuit board. I only wish to install a duncan Bridge pickup and keep the PRS neck pickup. It is unclear to me if I have to flip the pickup 180 degrees with the pole pieces facing the neck instead of the bridge. Is there a schematic for this installation? Any help at all would be appreciated...
