ive seen basses with scale lengths as short as 28quot;, but 30quot; is pretty darn long for a guitar. not sure what strings youd use on that beast

I wasnt thinking of buying it, as i will most likely get a Warmoth conversion neck to satisfy my baritone GAS, but it is interesting. If it is tuned an octave below and uses 25-95 strings i think its closer to a bass than a baritone myself...

my wife's short scale bass is 30quot; ... if i couldve found anything smaller in a bass, i wouldve gotten it for her as her hands are really tiny ... she has a rough time reaching the F note on the low E string ... and stretching from F (1st finger) to G (third finger) isnt happenin' ... interesting how musicians find a way to cope with physical limitations by developing a unique voice - she has a cool bouncy kinda staccato feel to her playing as she has to leave a lower note a fraction of a beat early in order to hit the next note that she cant stretch to hit ... i see her future in a ska or reggae band
