I recently snatched a pink Sustainer body off eBay for 75$. Basically, it's my first Kramer, or bolt on neck guitar for that matter, and I don't have many spare parts, so I need it all basically.

Trailer Trash pedalboards...
while deciding if i want to build my own pedalboard or buy one to work with i stumbled across this company quot;trailer trashquot; that makes some cool pedal boards...the prices can be a bit insane to say the least when you start adding options but some a real cool looking stuff that's fun to look at. you can also send them your pedals and they will build a custom board and attach the pedals and wire it for you all nice and neat which is a cool option for the lazy or messy people or just those with extra cash floating around lol.

question for truss rod experts
The biggest difference between my strat and my other guitars, ibanez, carvin etc is the vibration of the neck. I found some interesting info on warmoth.com: -gt;
so fender's necks with a stripe on the back have a single rod in the neck. it explains the looser feel and bell like tone. and then there's the modern double rods that's super strong like then one in my RG. It feels much stiffer when I hold the neck in my hand.

Pearly Gates and a JB?
Anyone here use this combo? - Im new and had never used p'ups ( always have been a gibson man! ) , however I'm thinking of putting soem SD p'ups in my 1960 Les Paul Re-Issue. I play mostly Led Zeppelin-esque and Queen type of music. I want to put a Pearly Gates in the neck and a JB in the bridge. What do you guys suggest? I want some warm tones that can gimme some bite with the distortion knob dimed - not too much like an EMG or Invader. I also want to maintain the classic rock sound.

It's In The House
57' RI Goldtop. As impressed as I was with the quality of the Standard I picked up from TC, this guitar is in annother league. Holy smokes. 8.1 lbs, long neck tenon, straight, tight grain on the back, one piece body. BB2 in the neck, BB3 in the bridge, and they are actually pretty damn good.

Owners of Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus
Apparently Digital Music (the maker) will mod this pedal for you and remedy the volume boost...which they claim is actually a bass boost. All I know is it gets louder when engaged. I'll let you know how the mod sounds.

H K Matrix 100
I'm looking in to getting a head to pair with my Avatar 4x12 that I purchased last year. I've been running a Squier practice amp into it, but as you would imagine, it sounds horrible. I know most people here will tell me to get a tube amp, but the fact is, I want something I can play loud and hard and fast with, but I can only spend $400 tops. That brings me to my question- Does anyone know anything about the Hughes and Kettner Matrix 100 head as it appears to be a viable option? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on another good head for under $400? I play a modded Squier Standard strat for now, but I hope to get a new guitar within the next half-year or so. I play stuff like Green Day, Sabbath, Hendrix, Shadow's Fall, Lamb of God etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys.

Traynor YCV20 or YCV40?
I'm thinking about picking up a Traynor YCV in the near future (off ebay of course, i can't afford the retail price). I'm having trouble trying to decide between the 20 and 40 watt combo, and whether i should get the WR version. I really like the look of the WR and it does have the Greenback in it, so should i spend the few extra bucks to get the WR? Any suggestions will help, i play mostly rock type stuff and some metal, and i like to have have a lot of gain at times. thanks everyone.
