I am a total newbie to this forum, so excuse me if there are any faux pas(es?). I have a Steinberger Spirit GT-Pro project guitar (yes, from musicyo), with stock EMG Selects. P/up config is H-S-H. I have purchased an SD Pearly Gates for the bridge, SD cool rails for the middle p/up and a GFS slightly overwound PAF for the bridge (ebay item # 7337581237). Should I pay a local custom shop (Action Music) $75 for changing (swapping out) the p/ups or should I try to do this myself?

I strung up my guitar from 9's to 12's (extreme difference I know), and I only have two screws behind the back plate that are securing the bridge, so the bridge is at a very high angle. Is this safe?

I noticed that on my standard strat is wired normally with a master volume, neck tone, and middle tone, but for some reason they also affect the bridge when I pick only the bridge pickup on the selector switch. Is this supposed to happen because this gives me the ablilty to have an individual tones knobs for the neck/middle and two tone knobs for the bridge pickup.

Hey guys. I was recently given a used Dimebucker by a friend, he had no use for it anymore. I wanted to hear some peoples opinions on it. Is the pickup versatile? Or only good for heavy music styles? I've heard it is a very bright pickup. Would it pair well in a mahogany Ibanez RG? Thanks in advance.

I need help. My hotrails pup sounds exactly like the stock pup i had before. The only difference is that the hammer-on/ pull-off is slightly better. I have this pup on a Squire Strat Affinity Series on the bridge. i also have the stock pups on the neck and middle. Someone please HELP!
