Most all of us have succumbed to the allure of amassing craploads of gear. I'm no exception but I've found I get GAS at different times for different reasons, which is what prompted this poll.
I'm curious what is the most common culprit for you.

Anyone use this back shape before from warmoth? I'm looking for a medium sized C, not that chunky but not real thin either. I was also considering the wolfgang profile. Let me know your experiences with these.

Subway Guitars
Their refret seems to be a very good deal( $100 or more cheaper than most of the good locals). I was just wanting to know if any of y'all had ever had dealings with them. I'm swapping pickups in one of their Jazz Bass copies for a friend. There are no objectionable quality issues, but I would like to know about their consistency, before I ship a guitar to them.

Could someone please describe the differences between these two types of guitars? (other than the obviuos physical characteristics). i've been looking at a few semi-hollow electrics, not a full size jazz type guitar but a standard body size that's semi hollow. what are the advantages or differences of these types of guitars?

What are my options under $500?

from : localhost/shows the black on in the middle, but when you go to prices the black isn't available. instead it shows transparent blue quilt. i've seen the epi. trans blue standard, but not the quilt top. i searched google and ebay and stuff and couldn't find anything on a blue quilt top. does anybody know where i can see what it might look like?

I'm starting my quest for 'the' tube amp and i've come across the randall MTS series. If you didn't know about these, the amps have modules you can buy (all tube) that emulate tons of classic boutique amps. This sounds great to me because i'm a huge fan of the flexability of modeling amps. On to the questions:
1. Has anyone tried one of these yet or any opinions?

Pricey,but he swears these are the best pickups currently out there? Haven't tryed them,but he's hyping them up a bunch...Anyone else using the Lollars?Funny because this reminds me of the guys on the LPF that raved about the Rolphs,Timbuckers,etc..It's the flavor of the week on that forum,but if my friend says the Lollars are great,then they are!
