Try opening Excel in Safe Mode. On the Windows Start menu, choose
Run, and enter the following and click OK.

Excel.exe /s

Try the safe mode option, but what service pack do you have on your office?
Sometimes upgrading your office will fix these types of issues just like
trying to go in to safemode....
