What would be the best nut for a trem arm strat with no floyd in order to keep it in tune? i know eddie van halen, before they invented floyd's, used a brass nut lubricated on his strat would that be the best?

Jazz Model Bridge Heavy Grind.....1 minute
Here's a little riff that popped in my head right before I was going to record something else a couple of weeks ago. It kinda has a grind to it (I think)...hence the name. It was recorded with my #1 Gibson Les Paul with the Jazz/Jazz combo. This was recorded with just the Jazz Bridge Model. I love those pickups for heavy stuff. Anyways, I hope ya dig it. Thanks and enjoy!!

Vox pedal i have never heard of
I was doing a little netsurfing today and i found that one of my favourite bassists used a Vox pedal back in the early/middle 70's that was called quot;Vox Fuzz wahquot;, was there a pedal with that name? Are they being made today? Are there any pedals on the market today that sound similar to that pedal?

Peavey Sessionmaster 400, 250$ should I ?
Recently, while I was @ a local guitar store, i saw a Peavey Sessionmaster 400 for $250. I am a relatively beginner guitarist, about to make the jump from a 15 watt solid state (ya, I know) to something worth playing on. question is, should i beg and plead more than I have been, or should I let it pass and get one myself when I scrape together enough cash?

No more amp threads from me
I just ordered the new EL34 based Traynor 50Blue. I sold my previous YCV80 2x12 because I just wanted a 1x12 and after much shopping around I remembered they were supposed to come out with an EL34 based amp so I ordered one last night.

Any amps like a Polytone in GC or Sam Ash?
A friend of mine has gotten shafted by a bunch of ***holes who sold him a silverface Bassman for 300 bucks that didn't work (it worked at the guy's house, but when played at a louder volume, the resistors over the power tube sockets fried) It's been 3 months since the guy said that he would get it fixed for free, and in the mean time he has borrowed one of the guy's amps and is using it as collateral. He plans on getting his money back.

Open G String is extra twangy.
I moved up from Fender Super 250 9's set to Silver Bullet 10's and the G-string is very twangy. The B and E strings are very non-twangy. Why is this?

Delay pedals with tap tempo
I'm on the verge on buying a delay pedal (don't know which one) and was wondering how important tap tempo is. It sounds crucial to me but there are so many delay pedals available which don't offer this as a standard function of the pedal.
