i am beginning to prefer the thicker necks more and more.... and my RG's wizard 1 is the wrong neck for that, hah. its in great condition with only a few dings considering its 1991 MIJ. its specs are in my sig.

THIS has always been my weak point. I'm sure a lot of people who are mixingly challenged would love to hear the advice from those of us who mix very well. What are we doing wrong? What is the limit we should follow as far as reverb use, compressor use, alcohol use? How do you guys get your stuff to sound so quot;airyquot; and seperated, especially hard rock and metal. What is the best way to mix vocals and get them to stand out instead of sounding buried.

OK, I tested my Blues Junior louder today and like the clean so much I'll keep it so the 6L6 have to go now. They have, no joke, less than 30 minutes of playing. I just tried them in my former Peavey Ultra and remove them to sell the amp. They are grade #38, which is good for Peavey Ultra and Traynor YCV40 amps among others.

Anyone have a used Dimarzio Tone Zone or Air Zone for the bridge in F space? I don't care about the color at all.. and it can even be beat up as long as it plays and has enough lead for the bridge position!

I have a black/white TB-5 floor shop custom that is in great shape( bought off a sightly rude here)

Guys....I don't normally stick things in my effects loop...I want to try running a Boss GE-7 into the loop of this Vox Valvetronix amp..The amp is stereo out and has a stereo loop,so if I Put a Boss GE-7 which is mono into the effects loop,will it make the entire output of the amp mono? Is it something we would notice? Should I be getting a stereo EQ instead?

this guy i know needed money fast for some reason and he offered to sell 3 of his pedals to me for $100. im gettin a BOSS SUPER SHIFTER, EHX BIG MUFF, and a DIMEBAG WAH in great condition for only a HUNDRED bucks. i feel ridiculously lucky. anywhoo... i have no experience with these pedals. and i dont even know which dime wah it is. anyone ever play these pedals? what do you guys think? thanks.

My CHarvel Model A, With 24 frets floyd rose ect, is now starting to buzz on the 8th fret G strng, No where else will it buzz except that one fret, It started once i put on new strings i went from 10-46 gauge ernieballs, to Ernieball Power slinky's 11,14,18p,28,38,48 Can anybody give me a hint to why it wud buzz in that place out of any, and for the record im playing 1 full step down, i tryed ajusting the bridge, leveling out the springs/strings to get it floating higher, neither worked, it is possible just the string or what cud it be?

ok heres what i want. absolutely unfettered access to all 24 frets so im thinking a rhoads v style. this guitar will be strictly for metal so im thinking EMGs. a locking trem like a kahler or original floyd rose. neck thru with small neck joint to aid with high fret access. single volume and binding everywhere. some of the offerings from jackson come close but none are it. any ideas?

Is it detremental to use mixed wattage speakers in a cab?

I've been looking for a place to get Sperzel replacement tuner buttons and haven't had much luck, anyone know where I can find some? I'm looking for chrome ones, preferable the 3x3 shape but it's no biggie.

I am loading my only strat with a CC in the bridge and want two hum cancelling duncans for the neck and middle?
i know NOTHING about single coils but that normally they are NOISY
