This is a blues jam thing I did on my strat copy for a competition on another forum. They supplied the backing track. So could you please give a little feedback on it?
I know I went out of key a little, but other than that, I could use some advice!

BYOC: Phase 90 users?
Hey guys.
Anyone tried the Build Your Own Clone Phase 90's? I was looking at these and wondering if it's worth it over just getting a Dunlop/Mxr reissue or EVH model. It says it's supposed to be more like vintage script models. If it's true, it's much cheaper than looking for a script model, plus it is true bypass. I was originally thinking of getting one of the kits to try myself, then saw that they sell ready made ones for about $20 more. They also come in much nicer colors.

what am i better off with
right now im jsut using a standard stratocaster. Ive been thinking about taking the pickguard and pickups off and putting on a new pickguard with one invader humbucker. But lately ive been thinking that i should leave the neck and middle pickups on get a new pickguard and just add the invader to make it look like a fat strat. any opinions on which would be better?

I'm going back and forth about this...
Do i need another OD/dist pedal...I've been in between yes and no for too long now so I'm gonna ask for your advice. I'm totally satified with my low classic overdrive tone for playing bluesrock, classic rock, and most rhythm parts in all lower gain music.

UFO
Anyone else love the sound on this live album? I find amazing that he got that sound from Plexis, it sounds like a JCM800. Love that lead tone, almost honks in a way. I wish I could get a sound like that out of a strat style guitar. I just sounds so thick.Doctor Doctor must be played at high volume!

Wiring Suggestions? Jazz Neck, Custom Bridge
I have a custom guitar project that I am working to finish. Currently there is no hardware actually in the guitar. The project is a neck through, walnut body, zebra wood top and head, 24 fret ebony finger board, dual humbucker setup. There are 2 pot holes and 1 spot for a toggle. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on how I wire up the pups. I have a jazz for the neck, and a custom for the bridge. I am open to using push/pull pots or even dual concentric pots to open up options. I am interested in splitting the coils. The toggle switch could be used for pickup switching, with an on/on/on configuration (front/both/back), or I could use pots for blending. I really don't know yet.

Mesa/Boogie FT
I have a Mesa/Boogie .50 Caliber combo for sale. Anyone who is familiar with the lesser known Mesa line knows that these are the based off the Mark series but use different power tubes (6L6s) where Marks use EL34s(?). Anyway, make me an offer, i'm looking for a good sounding TUBE combo and will consider heads. Please no Peavey .

pick up assistance
need some help here. i recently bought this 70's MIJ jazz bass, made by some random company called Star. It looks just like a fender except the electronics are a little funky. It has what appear to be two humbuckers, and for controls there are one vol, one tone, (both very scratchy) and three switches. My original thought was that they were coil taps and a pick up selector, due to the humbuckerish appearance of the pickups; however, the outter two seem to act like boost switches and the middle as a mute.

ES-335 pickup/pot switch?!
Hey, I have an Aria TA-65 ES-335 copy that is in need of some new pots (ond, preferably, some better pickups as well. Now, thing is, for those of you not familiar with this particular type of guitar - its a semi-hollow (ES = Electro-Spanish). Which means no removable back plates, which means no easy acces to the pots.

Les Paul Tuning Woes... Going Insane..
I have been unable to really enjoy my epiphone les paul standard plus because the dang thing will not stay in tune. If I start doing some string bending on the G or b string, they go out of tune.

Home recording methods
I just need something that I can use to record song ideas, riff lines, and solo ideas so that I don’t forget them. Any real recording I do is done in my buddy’s studio on his digital setup, but since we live 2 hours away it’s not feasible for me to go up there every time I want to lay something down.
