I sent a TS9 to our good friend John to mod for me (ridiculous fast turnaround BTW) and I couldn't be more pleased. The pedal has much more definition than the stock version and just sounds great! His prices are more than reasonable as well.

My hollowbody have two P90 dog ear. I'd like to change it for humbuckers for a warm and smooth jazz sound. Does a Paf in a P90 dog ear cover exists ?

Hey guys. I have a Kustom KAA65 acoustic guitar amp here that is buzzing and clicking while turned on. It does not consistantly buzz or click, but the amp will do it on any channel and happens randomly for a short while(10-45 sec) then stops. The noise is sort of a continuous buzz with an evenly spaced click(1/4 a sec - 1/2 a sec apart). Do any of you ahev any suggestions on what might be the problem?

I want to replace the tuners on my Taylor acoustic. I wanted to know which type of grovers were the best? OR if there were maybe some even better tuning machines (besides Waverly)

correct me if im wrong,
but it seems to me that the most common neck pups (for hard rock and metal anyway) are the 59 and the jazz which are both lower output pickups. why is this so? and if so can lower output pickups in the bridge do good hard rock and metal (like the 59 or the alnico pro II)?

i am about to change the preamp tubes on both my Marshall TSL601 COMBO and my Boogie dc5....The TSL has 4 12AX7 tubes V1,V2,V3,V4 and the DC-5 has six of them(V1,V2,V3,V4,V5,V6). I think i'll buy some JJ and some EH so i can mix them up and see how they sound that way. What i would like to know is do i need to buy some balanced 12AX7 for the phase inverter position(???) and which is the position for the phase inverter tube for each of the amps i mentioned earlier?

i just strung up my am dlx strat with not even slinkies and it's great. The bends are rough on the finger muscles, but after a couple of days of exercises ill be back in full action.

I remember a thread where someone (Big Black maybe, dont hold me to this) bought a Sg standard and around the fret wire were gouges in the wood, almost like the wood was cut too wide for the wire. I've had my LP studio gothic for close to two years now and was always pretty satisfied with it. I was changing the strings on it about an hour and half ago and it needed a good cleaning, while cleaning the fretboard i noticed mine had the same problem as the Sg. I dont know how i missed this for so long, but i really don't know how Gibson can let this happen to so many guitars. Im pretty sure my LP was made on 02. It's not that big of a deal for me because its definatly a player with some wood exposed here and there and is a little beat up(its been my main stage guitar for the past year or so) It never affected playability and doesnt bother me, but what happened to the days when having a Gibson meant having a top of the line instrument? I love Lesters too much to say im not going to play Gibson at all anymore, but from now on im looking into older models or Edwards/ Orville copies.

what quality makes emg 60 neck so popular especially in combination with emg 81 bridge also is emg 81 the same for neck and bridge or does it differ like sd's do (ex. 59 bridge isnt the same as 59 neck) speaking of that combo,kinda off topic that guy from the cure scares the hell out of me thats what i imagine when i think of the victims that were heavily petted by preists

I finished the bypass box built from Artie's design. I also put the 1 meg resistors on the guitar and amp jacks courtesy of Proxy's brain. It works perfectly and I can't hear any pop on my amp when switching channels. Artie and Proxy, You da man! :fing25:
