I've got quite a few External Data Queries set up in various
spreadsheets. They are sourcing tables in other Excel files. When I
refresh these queries the source file opens and stays open. I've tried
refreshing on a different machine and the source file stays open.

Is there a setting in the query that needs to be changed so that on
refresh the source file stays closed?

Any help greatly appreciated.
