How can I create headers without having them occupy Row #1 of my spreadsheet?
Go to the View menu and choose Header/Footer. This will bring up
a dialog that will allow you to insert page headers and footers.--

If you are talking about titles for each column, you cannot create them without
using row 1.
If talking about headers when printing, see Chip's response.Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP

wanted to create column titles without using row #1. Chip did not understand
my question because I used the herm header which, of course, is not what I
meant. thanks for clarifying my question and giving me a definitive answer.
