is there a way to create a data list basing on another worksheet data ?

Create a named range on the other sheet
Enter that name as list reference in Validation box

I used your recommendation but when I enter the Range name (from another
worksheet), i got a prompt telling me that the Validating list must be from
the active worksheet ?

can please assist further
