All I've been able to find are basic books with the simple formula info. Are
there any good reference books that go into more detail regarding rules for
formula creation????

I use John Walkenbach's quot;MS Excel 2003 Formulasquot; It expects basic knowledge
of Excel and simple formulas, but is a GREAT resource for more complex
knowledge.
