My main guitar for the past 4 years started life as a Fender Standard (Mexi) Tele, I've put a JB/59 set of SD humbuckers on it and have changed the neck to a nice solid maple copy. I want a lower tone out of the bridge p/u, would the CC be my best bet and keep the same output? I've been happy with the JB for years( it used to reside in a Yamaha SBG2000 for a long time) but after being on this forum for awhile I want a slightly darker tone. Is the CC my choice?

Are they worth the hundred bucks and the risk of giving a a credit card online?

I've looked at some searches, but I still don't know what would be better for me to go after for a new amp in 6 months. I had a previous thread to decide between the 1959slp and 1987xl, and I think I leaned towards the 1987xl maybe.... but let me just ask again to get a clear perspective on this again...

I bought one to mess around with and it's pretty cool....Looked on the circuit board and the darn thing has micro-circuit technology! I tryed playing with the trimmer adjustment on mine and I found I Liked the stock trimmer setting the best..I thought this pedal might be an expensive collectable someday and so I've added one to my growing pedal collection...

Just got my spina DS1, and all I can say is WOW! John, you truly do a great job, I haven't gotten a chance to crank yet, but let me tell you, all the low end that the stock ones dont have, this one has, all the fullness that the stock one lacks, this one has. I use the spina ds1 for mostly my base tone and i cascade other pedals into it accordingly. John you truly do a great job! *tips hat* This pedal rocks!

Heya all, I have a question about a new amp/pedal setup I'm thinking of getting.

I've had my BC Rich for a year now... (seems so long ago!) and to date it remains to be the best guitar I've ever tried at the price range I managed to get it. Here's the spec for my guitar. I've started to play around with various settings for the guitar and realised that the tone on the guitar could be improved by changing the default pickups.

I love the Alnico II Pro humbuckers I have in my Quicksilver, particularly when the coils are split. They really give a smooth, bright and bell-like tone when combined with the alder body.

If given the right speakers/tubes can 15 watt tube amps remain clean through a PA system? Not sure if that makes sense, but basically I want to know if a 15 watt tube amp can have enough headroom to play w/ other guitars/drums. No matter what has to be done, new speakers, new tubes, run through a PA, whatever.

I'm looking for a used backup. I'd like to check out the RG570 as well as the RG2120. I'd like another high end Ibanez, suggestions?

I'm doing some upgrades and mods to my Patriot. Partly, just for the experience. I got my Hipshot bridge in today, and I need to get some string ferrules also. The ones from Stew-Mac are $6. The ones from Callaham are $18.
