What a great sounding head, I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. I am sure I will find some quirks only had a brief blast but the sounds were very good and fairly authentic to my ears.

Replacing Alnico II magnets with Alnico V
Comparing my PRS with Alnico II Antiquity Humbuckers against my old Ibanez with Alnico V Super 70s it occured to me that someday I may want more output out of those pickups.

Repainting a guitar
I just had two Jackons repainted, they used gel-coat, the same stuff they use on boats. Its hard as a rock, its strong and hard to dent and dosent dent, and no chiping. Anyone here tried it and if so what were your results ? If not give it a try.

Should a hot rails sound muddy?
Hi guys, ive just installed my Breed pup and sounds excellent (best clean sound out of a bucker ever)
But it seems to put the hot rails in my strat to shame, and the hot rails sounds really muddy and over bassed. However, what i did notice when i wired up the breed in the ibby is that i wired it up backwards, and everything worked, but it was really muddy , but NOT out of phase. Then i re-wired it, and everything was crystal clear. Whats weird tho, i wasnt confident enough to mess with the strat at the time, so a technician did it for me. Its just when comparing them both now, the hot rails is terrible.

Gamp;L Legacy H?
I'm starting not to like my Schecter. It's too much of a Gibson-style guitar (although I'd love a doublecut with P90s) - 24.75quot; scale, TOM bridge, angled headstock, etc. It's a very nice guitar, just not my style. I'm thinking of trading it in.

Guitar Wall Hangers....
What is the downside to using these? I've heard hanging your guitar on the wall can dry the wood out, or necessitate a truss rod adjustment etc etc. Is this true, and if so how bad is it?

Learned a new inlay today thanks to screamingdaisy
Buzz the top off of a woodscrew and countersink it into the fretboard, shape it to the board and polish out.
Sounds simple but it is a ton of work, shaping the bottom of the screws so they fit but not to the point where they seat below the fretboard surface.Keep in mind that the fretboard is cambered and the screwhead is flat.
