Has anyone ever played one of those ? They seem to come up on ebay fairly regularly, but I don't know who makes/made them. I'd quite like an Explorer copy, particularly a white one but I'd be concerned that those built-in effects would be bad news for tone... Yay or nay ?

Hmmm i wouldnt get that myself. What FX are they? True bypass? Is it all a digital multieffect or stomp boxes? I prefer to keep FX on the floor!

Kort/Cort..whatever used to sell these through the SEARS catalog back when I was a young teen..I can't imagine it's much of a guitar?

I remember being a kid and looking in the Sears catalog and dreaming of having one of those. I may be wrong, but I believe one of the first guitars Gearjoneser ever had was one of those.
