Ok, I understand (for the most part) the whole minor scale thing (TSTTSTT and all that Jive) and I even went through and did a whole Aminor scale fretboard thing (I don't know how to explain it) to help pound it into my head...(I did a thing similiar to if you go here from : localhost/then full fretboard finder then natural minor scale in A) And I did that using the whole TSTTSTT thing...
well anyways heres my question...

I am selling one of my axes. I'll have about 1,000 bucks to spend on a new one. I'm trying to come up with a list of guitars I should try out. I play blues and classic rock mainly, but sometimes will play other genres live when needed. So start listing some nice guitars in my price range and why you like them. I could care less about looks btw, tone and playability are what I'm looking for.

I have a 72 tele and im looking for a bridge humbucker thats a good match for a telecaster. The ones on now are a little too bright and screechy for me, Seems like most of the hb's are geared towards pauls. But thanks for your help.

For all you experimental pickup gurus out there, has anyone ever tried to put two 'buckers right next to each other (poss. connected to a splitter so that they can become regular 'buckers, but could work together. If anyone has tried it, could you tell me if it worked, or, if not, what kind of sound did you get, or why it didn't work?

Now that I have this great amp Stratman gave me, it's time for me to find a good A/B/Y box. My plan is to use the Fender for cleans, and then use my Crate for distortion.True bypass preferred, around $100.

Well, I left the Country band I was playing with and I’m playing fulltime with my Praise band at church. I have also started a little project with the Praise leader in my church, who is a good friend of mine and a really great vocalist (the best I have worked with). I'm looking to buy a Strat or Strat-type guitar and would like the best bang for the buck. Please give me your vote and explain why you chose the model you did...

I'm sure there is at least one 'expert' out there which knows this. I have picked up an HFS that has a black, white, red, and braided ground wire. I just want to wire it into a standard les-paul like 3-way switch (no split). Is the white the 'hot' and black shielded the 'ground?' Is so, do I just tape off the red? Or should it be different than this?

So if your playing a combo and you want it to run into a speaker cabinet, say 4x12...
