What kind of guitar capos do you all find to work best? The spring loaded kind or the screw-tight kind?

I use the Shubb. I like the fact that you can vary the tension to your liking. It was like $12 or something?

I've got a screw tight one I think was about a fiver... Does the job!

I've been using THESE since day one and I see no need to change.

Shubb Deluxe

Kayser is what I've been using. I don't use them a lot, but when I do, they work well for me.

The world would stop spinning without Kayser capos...

The Kyser never worked right for me - as you can't adjust the tension it would make the strings sharp in certain positions. What's the point of a capo if you have to retune when you use it? I've had nothing but great experience with my Shubbs. I actually prefer the Original to the Deluxe.

Does anybody but me think that putting a capo sucks all the bottom out of your tone?

when i do use capos i use these

Um, maybe because it removes low notes? Other than that, no, I don't think so. It does make open chords in higher positions a bit brighter and more sparkling.

I guess it's just me, but it always seems like I turned the bass knob to -5.
