well i'm making a form on excel, and i want ppl to know where they need to
enter the amounts, but when it prints i dont want the background to have a
shade! i just want the shade to be there on the screen! what i did was put a
yellow color shade in the cells that i want ppl to enter the amounts, but
when i print it i get a yellow shade in the background of the amount, and i
just dont want the shade to be there. thx for ur help aman

If you select Print Preview, then Setup and choose the Sheet tab on the Page
Setup dialog, there is an option to Print - Black and White. That should do
it.
