Blues wanking supreme, what'd you expect from me anyway
I picked up a Ceriatone JTM45 clone recently. What a great amp, it fits me to a quot;Tquot;. Here's a quick wank I did this weekend using a JV Strat w.Tex-Mex pickups and a Washburn HB32 w/stock pickups (for now).
The Washburn is sort of like an ES-333, kind of a faded semi-hollow thing. It's pretty cool and I got a great deal on it.
Anyway, with all clams left in so you know it's really me...Da Blues

No pics yet, it's only a chassis right now, getting a head cab made for it!

The file was only about 5 seconds long here. No time for wankery.

yea man, that sounds really nice.....i like the depth of sound to the notes

This is why I prefer JTMs over Fenders for blues tone...just such a sweet sound with a little bit of Marshall edge low..and then when ya crank it, it gets NASTY

eresseraca, I have a really simple (read cheap) recording setup. My mic is an ancient audio technica PR325, it's at least 12 years old. I run that into a Behringer UB802 mixer, into a EMU 0404 soundcard, use n-Track Studio to record. The reverb and delay are plugins that come with n-Track. I mix it down and turn it into mp3 using RazorLame. That's it, nothing special No eq'ing was done to the guitar tracks, that's how they went down to the disk.

Very simple and still really really good sound!

I also add delay/reverb and such from programs instead of in the signal path when recording.
