but the custom pickguard I ordered from Chandler guitars won't arrive tilll tomorrow or Friday. In turn I'll have to mail out the pickguard to Vegas Guitars so they can do the wiring and installation. No big deal...but it'd been nice if the guitar could've been sent straight out. At least the Knucklehead is on its way.

Can't you just pull the current pickguard off, transfer the electronics over to the new one, and slap it back on? Or, are you having something more complex done?

By the way, how's the guitar feel? Do you like the neck?

I'm going from one volume and two tone to one volume/one tone. That I could handle myself. But we're going with a three way toggle switch instead of the standard two way, and the volume and tone knob will both be push/pull. I'll be able to split the neck and bridge pup individually as well as run them standard, series or parallel. Just a little more than I felt like dealing with!

And I'll probably always run them standard and unsplit!

It's still at the dealer....but I'll keep you posted as soon as she comes in. This is my first gun oil tint neck. I went with the Gamp;L #1 neck again so here's hoping.

i'm sure it will be worth the wait man...

like i said awhile back...your rig is prolly one of my faves on the boards...couldn't have picked out the gear better myself!

Appreciate the compliment. It took awhile to assemble all the pieces of the puzzle, but that's half the fun!
