Even though its kinda out there as far as looks, plus it isn't a widely used pickup,

I have been thinking that it may be great for what I want...Full PAF sound, overwound but not too overwound, with complex tone and harmonics...

Good for blues, fusion, electric jazz, and some funk...Think I would like it in a mahogany body strat with maple neck???

The Blues Trembucker is one of my favorite pups. It's in my main guitar which I use for a variety of tones. From blues to Led Zep and Van Halen covers. Very nice all round pup.

I was thinking the same thing and have a used one on the way to try out in the future.

I expect a full review!

It sounds great in a strat. I installed one in a friend's MIA Roadhouse strat and it sounds great. Big and fat with good cut and a good amount of the quot;hollownessquot; that a PAF has.

What is the difference in the trembucker and the Dimarzio hot virtual vintage paf?

never tried the vv paf but the patb3 is one killer pup. have loved it since i tried it years back when rodney suggested it to me. its a hidden gem!!
