Finally paid off the last $500 on this baby!.... Its brand new, just been sitting in the shop here for 2 and a half years! I got a huge discount from new, so very stoked on the price! It came with all the usual prs info inside the case but not the colour... not sure if its a blackburst or a tri burst or a....?
Anyway all that aside, holy smoke wot an amazing piece of workmanship this is, not a flaw anywhere to be seen!.
I find the neck on this one of the easiest necks to play i have ever put my hands on. (wide fat carve) It has the #7 pups in it...... was think id have to change em out for a set of SD's maybe a C5 and a 59, but hell no! These are quite a surprise to me, absolutely full sounding, warm and articulate, not even the neck pup muds out with high gain settings on my Rivera Knuclkehead.
It hasnt got birds, bit dissapointed when i first signed up for this but i dont even notice them not being there while playing/looking at this. It has some real nice abalone moons that have really good markings running through them.

I surpose you are wanting some pics of her.....

Sorry not much of a description but im still like a kid in a candy shop at the moment!

Was up all last night running over my old GNR licks, the neighbours must of got sick of hearing Mr Brownstone pumbling outta my House at 9pm! haha

Good to hear on that axe
Happy jammin' away

Well, I'm very happy for you; but if you want to be responsible for me getting off, I need pics!

Was that the green or the burst one? -either were very nice guitars. Hold onto it and you may find you'll have quite the investment, what with the lawsuit and all.

Stop bothering the poor neighbours…and start taking some pics to satisfy our hungry eyes.

Now you know why Gibson wanted them gone! PRS wide/fat has got to be the best neck profile there is, and the tone of their woods is where you get what you pay for.
You gotta hand it to PRS for getting factory setups perfect right out of the box.
Sure they cost money, but you forget about that when your guitar becomes a lifelong favorite. Play that thing till it's worn out!

How does the PRS wide-fat shape compare with the Gibson 50’s rounded shape (non historic.) PRS guitars are rather scarce here in Australia.

The Gibson neck feels more compressed to me. It's hard to explain.

The PRS Wide/Fat is just.. perfect.

just show 'em pics damn it =)

Pics, Pics Pics....

Pics!!!!!!!!!!!

Singlecuts are sexy.....

Even PRS low-end axes have exquisite setups on them. The SE's I've played have all been top-notch and setup very nicely.

Any PRS' I've played that have been set up badly are usually the result of some idiot who is in no way affiliated with PRS.

Pics???????

post some damn pics already. I actually like the wide thin better though. You might have the charcole burst, thats what tremonti plays

Sounds like you've just got your hands on a sweet guitar. I don't want to see any pics, though (maybe reverse-psychology will work ).

Not anymore, PRS won the appeal.

It was the burst one, blackburst i think the quot;mayquot; call it, one hell of a nice guitar to play!

Ok ok ok, took some pics lst night, will try and post them soon! Im at work at the moment so will try and fit it in between jobs.
I just cant get over the feel of the neck on this .... saaaaawwweeeeettt!
And for a mahogany bodied guitar, i know the maple cap helps, but the unplugged volume of this is amazing!

Very typical of PRS guitars. Every one I've had has been excellent in acoustic/natural tone and volume. I just find the PRS pups generally destroy alot of that natural vibe in them (especially the HFS).
