I don't recall ever seeing anyone talk about the Jazz bridge version.
I was just curious if anyone has ever tried one, and what they thought?

Cool . . . at least that will give me a little narrower search criteria to use. Using quot;Jazzquot; gave me a zillion hits.

Edit: Limiting my search criteria to posts by Jolly has given me all the Jazz bridge info I need.

yep...they're my favorite. The majority of the songs in my signature were recorded with them.

Those sounded great. Now its one more pup I have to add to my GAS list.

Only idiots use the Jazz bridge! LOL Hey Jolly, whats up my knee grow?

I think that I am the only person in the world to have bought a Jazz bridge pickup...

It was for a thick bodied Jazz box, and I was looking for the cleanest humbucker available. I first tried 59's and Alnico 2's, but they weren't clean enough. So I got a set of Jazz pickups and wired them up to a rotary switch so that I could select series linkages to dirty them up a bit. Funny thing is when series linkages are selected the quot;otherquot; tone control works backwards... as you turn it down to 0 the tone gets brighter! (The tone control for the pickup connected to the hot signal works as expected; it is the tone control for the pickup which is wired to ground that works backwards.)

Here is a drawing that shows how the series links on that guitar work:
