Well, my McCarty made it home to me today. I just got done spending the last two hours with her. The finish and quilt top are WAY better than I expected them to be. It needs a new set of strings and a good polish, which I will gladly give it tomorrow. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance.

As you and I discussed in the PM, I think it was pretty crappy of them to have a 2003 NOS guitar sent to you with the same original 2003 strings and associated fingerprints. That blows.

I never got that pic you told me about.Well, it was born on July 2, 2004 to be correct. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are the original strings and it really could have used a good polish. I inspected the 'gap' I was telling you about a little more and I think it's a streak of glue. It in a spot that makes it hard to see, but I put a bright light to it and the gap had a shine...........so, I don't think its a gap. There's no sense in re-sending you the pic, becuase it wasnt good enought to make out the supposed gap anyway. If I get a better pic, I'll send it to you.
