Anybody have any info on an all mahogany Martin D17 acoustic? I have been offered 1 in the UK in exchange for my '97 Strat plus. Any idea of reputation, sound, price etc?

Martin = badger's nadgers
Expensive, top quality, rather famous in the world of acoustic guitars. Do you swap? Meh, I guess it depends how much you want a fantabulous acoustic, and how much you like your strat. Worth considering it, tho, especially if you already have other electrics.
