I am building a copy of my wolfgang, but I'll be changing the specs a bit. I'll be using just an ash body, instead of basswood. Still have a birdseye maple fretboard, two humbuckers, et.
What options would you recommend as pickups for this guitar. I have plenty of vintage sounds in my other guitars, and have the pearly gates, '59, and Distortion.
I would like a slightly edgier rock sound. I really like the '59, and may even want to go a little hotter.
