Does anyone have one? No wood whatsoever! It is made of graphite. It has very cool tone... clean, almost bell-like. They are virtually indestructible and will not go out of tune... ever. It has been a while since I played one. I will be in the area next week to see a dealer.
Thoughts?
I don't own a Rainsong, but I liked every one of them I've played. Having a guitar that almost never needs to be adjusted would be great! Go for it, I think you'll like it.Sprinter
I am thinking of the OM1000. Orchestra cutaway and LR Baggs electronics.

the few I have played have been the best acoustics I've tried. I ended up buying a graphite-topped Adamas, simply because I couldn't quite afford the $3k Rainsongs.
they seem cool, probably very ideal for out door conditions with temperature and such. i personally have to have wood, but i see nothing wrong with graphite, if ti does the job then go for it!
I've read reviews that they're great guitars and a good alternative to some of the problems with wood. I've never played or heard one tho, only sutff I've read, which have all been positive.
Get it and tell us how you like it...
ive played one a while back and a friend of mine has one. it sounds very very good. and your right, almost bell like. i almost want to put the word chimy in, but its not really. good quality instument as well
